Features: This book not only collects ghost stories but also gathers superior mystery, suspense, and Gothic novels. Readers are familiar with the first two types. As for Gothic novels, they were popular in Britain in the late 18th century. They depict horror, violence, supernatural elements, and a longing for the Middle Ages. The stories usually take place in Gothic architecture, particularly dark and desolate castles. The plots are terrifying, bizarre, and filled with a mysterious atmosphere. Here collected are three very famous Gothic novels.
