Features: Tired, exhausted, I like to quiet down and think. The more I think, the more often a complex forms in my heart. What I long for but is unattainable only makes me long for it even more. In fact, most modern urbanites probably share this feeling. Some exaggerate it recklessly, though it may seem a bit overly sentimental, it is still understandable. Upon closer reflection, this is not an issue unique to modern people—it is a cultural issue. The desire for transcendence is not just what Taoism preaches; Confucius also expressed his sentiments with "Who would I associate with if not those of the same school?" It seems this is a common complex. What one thinks during the day and dreams about at night naturally manifests in paintings as these ancient figures. I have released a part of my passion onto them, as there is no other way to satisfy my heart. If we talk about its significance, I believe it has both thematic and artistic aspects, such as the meaning mentioned above, as well as the artistic elements like brushwork, composition, brushwork, and composition. I do not view these technical factors in isolation; they embody cultural spirit. My creative impulses have always been accompanied by this spirit, and form and meaning are inherently intertwined. In the preface to the "Poetry Collection of Li Mountain Person" by Ming Dynasty scholar Tu Long, it is written, "Words must align with emotion, intent must harmonize with the scene, tone must match the style, and writing must reflect substance—not only are their talents exceptional, but their roots in nature are profound indeed."
