The Great Series of Chinese Calligraphy: A Journey Through Time is compiled into separate volumes based on the script styles of the calligraphers' works, including Seal Script and Clerical Script (to be published), Regular Script, Running Script, and Cursive Script. Each volume features an "Introduction" that summarizes the entire history of Chinese calligraphy while providing a detailed introduction and evaluation of the origin, development, characteristics, and influence of each script style, as well as the major calligraphers and their works.
Each calligrapher is accompanied by a brief biography, and each work includes expert annotations. The annotations provide a thorough introduction and evaluation of the work's style, school, influence on later generations, as well as details such as materials, dimensions, origin, and current location, enabling readers to accurately understand the original appearance and essence of the works.
