1. Revisions made according to newly promulgated or amended laws, regulations, and judicial interpretations. This mainly involves updates based on newly promulgated laws and judicial interpretations such as the Land Contract Law of the Rural Areas, the Supreme People's Court's Interpretation on Several Issues Concerning the Determination of Compensation for Mental Damages in Civil Torts, the Supreme People's Court's Interpretation on Several Issues Concerning the Application of the Guarantee Law of the People's Republic of China, and the Supreme People's Court's First Interpretation on Several Issues Concerning the Application of the Marriage Law of the People's Republic of China. These constitute a significant portion of the revisions.
2. Revisions made according to the progress of civil legislative processes. This mainly involves revisions based on academic discussions and debates that arose during the drafting process of the Property Rights Law and the Civil Code, with a focus on critical analysis. This area also has a considerable number of revisions.
3. Other revisions. For example, Chapter 8 was changed from "Statute of Limitations" to "Temporal Aspects in Civil Law." We sincerely hope that readers will continue to show their care for this textbook and provide further comments and suggestions. The author is deeply grateful!
