Chess Endgame Practical Tactics

Features: Compared to the opening and middlegame, the endgame has relatively fewer variations. However, with fewer pieces on the board and a larger active space, each piece gains more room to maneuver. In chess, the endgame is like the final play in a football match—the ability to score depends on solid skills as a foundation. Therefore, studying and mastering endgame knowledge can help us transition from a disadvantageous position to a more favorable endgame during a match. It is well known that no matter how the opening and middlegame unfold, the outcome of a game is ultimately determined by the endgame. Thus, the importance of the endgame in a match is self-evident. This book collects, organizes, and selects over 140 endgame examples, all from actual play. Since the knight-bishop-pawn endgame is particularly common and practical in real games, I have intentionally included more examples of this type. I firmly believe that if readers carefully read, study this book, and conduct additional research, their endgame skills will undoubtedly improve.
