Grow up

Features: Memories can sometimes be enjoyed, especially when they include mountains, seas, innocent smiles, and genuine, transparent tears. The sky of the countryside holds the expressions of childhood, while the city lights welcome lonely figures. The scenery along the journey is chaotic yet natural. It slips by unnoticed, the nakedness in diaries feels familiar yet strange, as my still-true eyes tell you that everyone has people and things worth remembering—those loved, hated, happy, and sad, telling us of experiences once lived. But how long will they linger in memory with their multiple meanings? Old photographs in albums begin to yellow, and those once loved start to fade. Then I begin to cry, because what should have been clear becomes blurred, gradually turning into particles. One day, it will be fragile, ground into dust by time, and drift away with the wind. I don’t want the ending to be so tragic—brilliance often lies in the process.
