Features: To meet the needs of secondary tourism education and improve teaching quality, we have organized the compilation of textbooks for the main courses of the Hotel Service and Management program in secondary tourism vocational schools, based on the teaching plans and syllabi formulated by the Department. After approval, this series of textbooks can be used by secondary tourism vocational schools for the Hotel Service and Management program, or by corresponding programs in other schools as a reference. They can also serve as reading materials for employees of tourism-oriented hotels for training and self-learning by corporate staff. The content of this course emphasizes the need to understand interpersonal relationships and etiquette knowledge in hotel service, learn and master the polite service language, basic etiquette, and etiquette norms required in hotel service, develop interpersonal communication skills, and cultivate the habit of treating guests with politeness. The main content of this book includes an introduction, an overview of etiquette and courtesy, appearance, posture, polite service language, daily service etiquette, etiquette norms for employees in different departments of hotels, customs and etiquette of major source countries and regions, international etiquette knowledge, religious etiquette knowledge, Appendix 1: Diagram of Tying a Tie, Appendix 2: Diagram of Hotel Employee Appearance and Attire Standards, Appendix 3: (English-Chinese) Common Polite Expressions and Related Sentence Patterns.
