Features: Since the 1980s, the field of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) nursing in China has been exploring a nursing model that is characteristic of China and suitable for its national conditions. While introducing modern nursing models and concepts such as "accountability nursing" and "holistic nursing" from abroad into the national nursing community, the TCM nursing field in China has also promoted a TCM-characteristic holistic nursing theory centered on the essence of TCM theory—"holistic concept" and "syndrome differentiation and treatment." In clinical practice, it has demonstrated the advantages of integrating rich modern nursing theories and skills, gaining attention and encouragement from knowledgeable individuals both domestically and internationally. However, in the process of implementing TCM accountability nursing and TCM holistic nursing, nurses have a lack of standardized TCM nursing diagnoses with TCM characteristics to guide clinical practice and document TCM nursing records. To address this, this book was compiled. The book is divided into 10 major nursing diagnoses and 40 specific nursing diagnoses. Each diagnosis is primarily based on the introduction of foreign diagnostic frameworks while incorporating relevant achievements from recent TCM nursing research. The names, related factors, and nursing measures of each diagnosis strive to reflect TCM theory and skills, aligning with the scope of responsibilities of clinical TCM nurses, making it a reference book that combines professionalism and practicality, featuring both TCM and Western nursing characteristics.
