Features: The true research on multinational corporations in China began in the 1980s. Prior to this, the studies were extremely superficial, with multinational corporations generally viewed as super monopolistic organizations of imperialism. There was little research on their positive role in international economic relations, and the understanding and recognition of their contributions were limited. With the gradual development of China's reform and opening-up, academic research on multinational corporations became highly active. The scope of research expanded, and it became increasingly in-depth, making the study of strategic alliances of multinational corporations a priority on the agenda.
