Features: We are living in an era of design. From the environment of cities to the everyday items around us, everything originates from design, and designed objects are everywhere. With the continuous development of science, technology, and human civilization, design has been widely used in all aspects of social life and has become a necessity for modern material and spiritual life. Environmental design is a brand-new concept for us. It is large because it can involve the systematic planning of the entire living environment; it is small because it can focus on creating different spaces for people's living and working environments. There are different divisions of labor in environmental design activities, but division does not mean separation. It is still inseparable from the broader conceptual framework. All design for the environment must be based on a holistic consideration of the quality of the living environment. Drawing on traditional display methods, and based on learning and summarization, we aim to break through traditional display methods to create more human-centered, more engaging, and more approachable display forms that bridge the gap between the audience and the organizers. Understanding "place" as a qualitative "whole" environment, people should have a comprehensive grasp of the actual place. The specific topic is to attempt the transformation of an old industrial plant in the southern part of the city. Stage design is the creation of space. Today's theater spaces are no longer abstract, homogeneous, or singular spaces but rather heterogeneous spaces composed of action space, aesthetic space, perceptual space, and interaction space. What is stage design? Although a concise definition may not be readily available, through the research of this topic and the guidance of the teacher, we hope to provide some help in understanding for the students. Design is a creative activity that utilizes knowledge and wisdom to meet the growing material and spiritual needs of humanity, change society, and drive social progress and development. Design plays a significant role in product development, consumer guidance, enhancing product competitiveness, changing people's lifestyles and living structures, creating new living environments, and promoting business development. For this reason, design is increasingly valued by countries around the world. In the 1980s, design became a key area of investment for many countries, and design education became a fundamental policy in many economically developed nations, receiving high attention. The 21st century places even greater demands on the comprehensive abilities of design talent. In this context, how to conduct design education has become an arduous task we are currently facing, especially in the foundational courses of various specialized programs. Topic selection should balance knowledge, inspiration, and, fully mobilize and develop students' thinking abilities and design potential.
