The cooking methods are simple and rustic, with minimal utensils, preserving the original flavors and offering a fresh and intriguing taste. This reflects the principles of "green" food, aligning with the dietary trends of (), (), (), and (). Although the cooking methods of rural home-style dishes are simple, the ingredients are ordinary, and the style is rough, they highlight the characteristics of Sichuan cuisine, with excellent color, aroma, and flavor. They are not exaggerated or (), yet their nutritional value is higher, making them highly favored by diners. Many rural home-style Sichuan dishes, once introduced into the culinary market, have been rebranded by chefs, gaining new vitality and sparking great interest, creating culinary trends. Following the development of Sichuan cuisine, I believe that Sichuan rural home-style dishes can be divided into branches such as Western Sichuan cuisine, Eastern Sichuan cuisine, Southern Sichuan cuisine, and Northern Sichuan cuisine based on geography, and can be categorized as household dishes, field banquet dishes, and courtyard dishes based on origin. Their varieties are rich, the dishes have a long history, are relatively well-established, and have begun to form a system. Each variety has a rich connotation, whether in legends or ordinary tales, with a strong sense of nostalgia and culinary culture woven throughout. However, there is a certain structure to it, with patterns in ingredients, cooking methods, and seasoning. Many of these dishes can stand alone, serving as signature dishes and famous dishes in restaurants.
