1. This book primarily uses the Suzhou Shaoyeshanfang stone printing edition of the "Shanghan Lun Hui Zhu Jinghua" from the Gengshen year of the Republic of China (1920) as the main reference text for collation, and also refers to the "Shanghan Lun Jiaozhu" by Zhu Youwu published by Hunan Science and Technology Press, the "Shanghan Lun" in "Zhongguo Yiyao Daxcheng·Shanghan Lun" published by Jilin Science and Technology Press, as well as the "Shanghan Lun Jiangyi" and "Jin Gui Yao Lue Jiangyi" published by Shanghai Science and Technology Press for collation. There are several differences between the "Shanghan Lun" passages in Wang's book and those in the Hunan, Jilin, and Shanghai Science and Technology Press editions. However, to preserve the original form of Wang's work as much as possible, notes are provided for obvious differences, while the rest follows Wang's original text.
2. The volume and chapter arrangements follow the original book, while the collated notes are arranged according to footnote numbering at the end of each chapter.
3. The original book was written in traditional characters, which have now been uniformly converted to standardized simplified characters and arranged in a horizontal left-to-right format.
4. This book focuses on collation, with occasional annotations for difficult characters or phrases. Ancient characters and homophones are directly corrected during collation without additional notes.
5. The content is divided into two parts: the original text of the "Shanghan Lun" and the annotations by various medical scholars. For the convenience of readers and to distinguish between the two parts, different font sizes are used.
