Features: The summer of 1966 was exceptionally hot. July was blazing with no clouds in sight, and cicadas kept chirping in the shade of the trees. It was supposed to be nap time, but Xiao Ge and the others decided they couldn’t waste such fine weather. So, they sneaked into the middle of the hallway to play with cigarette packs. It was cool and quiet there, making it the perfect spot for playing the game. That day, they played "say a number, drop a number," with four players in total. Each player had a nickname. Mine was "Erbai," as my friends put it, "the cards I play are never bigger than two hundred million." The other three were called "Shuzi," who always lost; "Badminton," whose one eye was slightly crossed; and the last one, "Huangbulengdeng Yitanshi."
