To address the new functional requirements of agile manufacturing, under the support of the national program CIMS theme, the author and his research team designed and developed an experimental ERP software system oriented to agile manufacturing, abbreviated as AM/ERP. In addition to the main functions of general ERP software, this system can also support the "opportunity-driven" operation mode of agile manufacturing and the formation and dissolution model of dynamic alliances.
To meet the needs of AM/ERP, the author explores several related optimization problems, proposes basic mathematical models for some of them, and analyzes and discusses the corresponding solution methods, extensions of fundamental problems, specific algorithms of the models, and performance.
