Features: Since its publication and release in 1998, the book "Financial Management" has been deeply loved and welcomed by a broad readership and has been reprinted multiple times. During this period, we organized relevant teachers to make major revisions to the book in 2001, making its content and system more scientific, rational, and practical. However, with the acceleration of economic globalization and technological progress, China's economy and various social undertakings have entered a new stage of sustainable, healthy, and rapid development. Modern concepts such as "scientific development outlook," "people-centered approach," and "building a harmonious and resource-conserving society" have taken root. The financial management environment for enterprises has undergone significant changes. To fully absorb new experiences and achievements in current financial management practices and financial theory research, and to better meet the needs of financial management teaching and practice, we have again organized some of the original contributors to the book, guided by a spirit of truth-seeking and pragmatism, to conduct a thorough revision while preserving the original style of the book. The key points of the revision are as follows:
1. To meet readers' further learning needs on corporate financial management, a new chapter on "Corporate Valuation" has been added, along with corresponding exercises. The content of this chapter is relatively advanced and can be used for optional study. At the same time, some outdated content from the original book has been removed.
2. The chapters "Introduction to Financial Management" (Chapter 1), "Value Measurement in Financial Management" (Chapter 2), "Financial Budgeting" (Chapter 7), and "Corporate Mergers and Acquisitions Financial Management" (Chapter 10) have been rewritten.
3. All chapter exercises have been comprehensively revised and expanded.
