Features: Seeing the title of this book, you might have a big question: Can 30 articles cover the vocabulary for postgraduate entrance exams? Vocabulary is the foundation of English learning, and vocabulary memorization is a problem that many readers find troublesome. Regarding vocabulary memorization, there have always been two completely different views: one advocates simply memorizing words. Simply memorizing words can quickly expand vocabulary and achieve breakthroughs in a short time, but this method lacks contextual understanding and is dull and tedious, making it seem like a daunting task. The other suggests memorizing words through reading. Memorizing words through reading indeed overcomes the drawbacks of rote memorization and lack of context, but how many articles would one need to read extensively to memorize all the vocabulary required by the exam syllabus? As the exam approaches, candidates often lament that distant water cannot quench immediate thirst. If there were a few articles that covered the syllabus vocabulary, wouldn’t it be both contextually meaningful and a quick way to expand vocabulary? The book in your hands, "Sparkling·Comprehensive English" (Postgraduate Entrance Exam), avoids the shortcomings of both approaches while combining their strengths. It selects a small number of natural and authentic English texts that cover most of the postgraduate entrance exam vocabulary, perfectly integrating the unique Sparkling memory method with the natural learning philosophy of learning through reading. It opens up a new realm of vocabulary memorization, providing you with a magical gateway that combines rapid expansion with contextual understanding, guiding you into the wonderful world of English!
