Features: The stories of the Young Marshal and seven women revealed in this book vividly embody a deep sense of "affection." Whether it's the profound friendship with a famous Tianjin lady (as recounted by the Young Marshal: She committed suicide on the train; she was a very strong-willed woman, and we presented her with two inscriptions) or the platonic, pure sentiments with the wife of the Italian Ambassador (as recounted by the Young Marshal: I was good friends with Signora Mussolini, and I never expected she would develop feelings for me), the behind-the-scenes details have been disclosed for the first time since the Young Marshal's passing. This book showcases the Young Marshal's other side—his chivalrous spirit and deep sense of loyalty and kindness—for readers who are familiar with his battlefield exploits and his historical significance as the leader of the Xi'an Incident.
