Features: The history of the development of human passenger transportation is a history of continuously increasing speed. The development of maglev train technology in the 20th century made it possible for the maximum operating speed of ground passenger transportation to reach a new level of 500 km/h. The advantages of maglev trains, such as low noise, small turning radius, high acceleration, and low energy consumption, may also make them widely applicable in the development of intercity and urban rapid rail transit. The construction and operation of the Shanghai Maglev Demonstration Line gave birth to the world's first high-speed maglev practical line in China, marking a new stage in the development of maglev transportation.
