Features: The Guiding Principles for the Use of Anti-Flashover Coatings for External Insulation of Cross-regional Power Grid Transmission and Transformation Equipment of State Grid Corporation (for Trial Implementation) (hereinafter referred to as "these Guiding Principles") aim to standardize and strengthen the application management of room-temperature vulcanized silicone rubber anti-flashover coatings [RTV (including PRTV)] for external insulation of power equipment in cross-regional power grid transmission and transformation equipment of State Grid Corporation, thereby improving the safety and reliability of equipment operation. At the same time, they promote the overall standardization and comprehensive quality improvement of the RTV industry, encouraging RTV, a highly effective (to a certain extent indispensable) temporary and remedial anti-flashover product, to develop into a formal product. The main contents include RTV performance indicators, inspection rules and test methods, packaging and storage, selection and acceptance, construction, and operation and maintenance. These Guiding Principles apply to room-temperature vulcanized anti-flashover coatings (RTV) used for external insulation of substations (converter stations) and overhead transmission lines of power facilities in cross-regional power grids of State Grid Corporation, operating under rated voltages of 1000V or higher and environmental temperatures ranging from -50 to +50℃.
