Starting from defining the terminology of exposed mountain body gaps, the book explores the connotation of landscape ecological restoration for such gaps and summarizes their ecological restoration models. Based on different formation causes and matrix compositions, typical exposed mountain body gaps are divided into three components, with corresponding landscape ecological restoration models and technical measures proposed for each.
