The author believes that without reading these texts, one's life in the world would be in vain, having wasted their time in the precious land of China. In my humble opinion, the Four Great Classical Texts form the core of TCM, while the aforementioned works serve as its foundation. Beginners who refer to these texts will find them beneficial in reading this book.
