Features: This article starts with the problems and current situation of arbitration institutions in China and the institutional arbitration, focusing on the development of arbitration and arbitration institutions. Considering the current challenges faced by Chinese arbitration, including the opening-up of the legal services industry after joining the WTO, the following recommendations are proposed: First, reduce the power of arbitration institutions and increase the power of arbitration tribunals and courts; Second, clarify the power and obligations of the establishing authorities, define the relationship with the establishing authorities; Third, reduce the "unjustifiable" management after establishment, establish independent industry self-disciplinary organizations; Fourth, strengthen the professionalism of institutional management personnel and eliminate administrative influence.
