Features: The 12 articles included in this book primarily focus on three aspects: first, the various "dilemmas" faced in political governance during the transition period, such as the loss and development of political resources, the choice between order centered on legitimacy and democracy, political governance transitioning from adversity to crisis, and the survival mechanisms and control of political rumors during the transformation period. At the same time, it explores future-oriented institutional choices, interaction models between the central and local governments, and other issues in the mid-term reform. Second, it attempts to analyze the phenomenon of corruption during the transition period more deeply from the perspectives of the "folklorization" of corruption and the cost-benefit analysis of corrupt behavior. Third, it addresses major issues such as the transformation of public governance in the direction of the knowledge economy and the preservation of social and political stability under informatization conditions in response to the major trends of the times. Additionally, the book includes two articles on the development path of socialist democratic politics and the reasonable achievements of learning from the representative mechanisms of governing parties abroad.
I once had a plan for my theoretical thinking: First step, primarily using an analytical approach to dissect some contradictions and issues in political development; second step, primarily adopting a constructive method to propose some ideas for advancing political development. The articles included in this book may have more of an analytical nature. I still hope to delve deeper and focus more on suggestions, striving to achieve some results.
