Features: To meet the needs of China's socialist modernization construction and the implementation of the strategy of governing the country according to law for legal talent, and to comprehensively improve the quality of legal professionals, we have invited professors who have long been engaged in logic teaching in judicial and legal schools to closely connect with the practice of judicial work and compile "Practical Logic for Judicial Work" for use in various judicial and legal schools. As a fundamental discipline, the vitality of logic lies in its application. This book is edited by professors from Southwest University of Political Science and Law, and is divided into 11 chapters, which comprehensively and systematically elaborate on the origin and development of logic science, general logical knowledge of concepts and its application, the general characteristics of propositions, properties propositions, compound propositions, normative propositions, general knowledge of reasoning, deductive reasoning, inductive reasoning and analogical reasoning, hypothesis, investigative reasoning, and argumentation. From a practical perspective, the authors of this book have had to make necessary adjustments, changes to the conventional teaching system, content, and explanatory methods of textbooks primarily based on traditional logic. The system, content, and explanation of certain logical theoretical issues in this book are also different from many existing logic textbooks. Our intention is undoubtedly to make it a more suitable logic reader for application in judicial work, with the hope of guiding the application of knowledge.
