Features: After 1967, at the age of 63, Sun Li began another highly productive period in his lifelong creative career. Regarding the Cultural Revolution, he once said, "Reflecting on pain leads to mourning the dead. I regret that they died in darkness, unable to share the blessings of political clarity, which is why I lament their passing in these dark years." He also expressed his enduring vigor, expecting to "write another ten small books." He fulfilled this ambition and stopped writing in May 1995. This set of "Ten Works After the Plight of the Farmhouse" is the second compilation of these ten books. During the collection of Sun Li's photographs, manuscripts, calligraphy, and other materials, we are deeply grateful to his relatives, friends, and all those who generously assisted us.
