Features: The pursuit of poetry is like mirage and flowing water, and grasping poetic style is as difficult as catching the wind and shadows. If we examine the way of individual existence, then there are a hundred people with a hundred styles, and a hundred styles with a hundred variations. If we focus on the constraints of patterns, then even if there are a thousand schools, they are still just a few. This study starts with the Buddhist and Zen traditions, beginning with Wang Wei of the early Tang Dynasty and concluding with Su Shi of the Song Dynasty. From the established poetic style of the Tang Dynasty to the final formation of the poetic style in the Song Dynasty, over nearly four hundred years of transition and transformation, it explores the influence and interaction of Buddhist and Zen traditions. The aim is to discover the laws of change and development in poetic creation and provide inspiration for contemporary artistic creation.
