Features: For many concepts, it explains their historical origins and evolutionary processes as much as possible, and elaborates on their theoretical status and role in economics. For controversial concepts, it explains various interpretations. Given that Western economics has become a mathematized discipline, each concept is explained as formally as possible to clarify its precise meaning. The concepts compiled in this dictionary are basically limited to the "economics" typically taught in university courses but go beyond the scope of "introductory economics." Additionally, it includes influential economic schools and economists that have significantly impacted the development of contemporary Western economics. To facilitate reader reference, three sets of indexes are compiled:
First, the "Pinyin Index of Entries," where entries are sorted by the pinyin of the first character of the Chinese name. If the first characters are the same, they are further sorted by the pinyin of the second character, and so on.
Second, the "Foreign Language Index of Entries," where entries are sorted by the alphabetical order of the first letter of the English name. If the first letters are the same, they are further sorted by the second letter, and so on.
Third, the "Thematic Index of Entries."
