Xingyun Youying Book Series: Solitary Mountain Listening to Rain

Author: Yu Pingbo
Publisher:
Publish Date: 2003-04-01
Features: This book includes more than thirty essays, sketches, and poems by the modern Chinese writer Yu Pingbo. Adhering to the editorial philosophy of the "Clouds and Shadows" series—“while selecting renowned poems and prose, it also extensively searches for related historical records and images, interweaving them with the main text in a complementary manner"—this collection appropriately incorporates relevant background documents and historical photographs at points related to each work. This allows the pieces, originally submerged in the river of history, to regain their brilliance.
