Features: Zeng Guorong is a typical Chinese person: he has a complete but imperfect family, a job that earns a living but not money, and a modest savings that seem useful but aren't. By chance, Zeng Guorong is told about his fate: divorce, unemployment, and poverty. Zeng Guorong is caught in deep conflict: on one hand, he yearns for a fundamental change in his life, even if it means starting over from scratch; on the other hand, he dreads the pain that such a change would bring. This psychological conflict inevitably leads to contradictions in his behavior: on one side, he desperately tries to prevent his future fate from coming true, while on the other side, he desperately wants to change the trajectory of his current fate. To this end, he finds a plausible excuse for himself: to fight against fate. Thus, he goes against the grain everywhere, hoping to resolve or negate it. However, when he finally manages to endure the of fate, all the disasters predicted by fate suddenly occur. Zeng Guorong finally stops fighting against fate. His instinct for survival helps him overcome countless difficulties, but at this moment, he suddenly realizes: fate has already begun to come true. Zeng Guorong suddenly understands: in this fight against fate, he could never win because he had no purpose. He had actually been fighting for the sake of fighting, which is purely fighting.
