Features: This book is a specialized work dedicated to exploring the boundaries between different crimes. The main features of this book are: First, it provides a comprehensive and systematic comparison and distinction between similar or comparably related specific crimes, covering almost all offenses in the Chinese Criminal Code, making it highly applicable for those engaged in judicial adjudication, administrative law enforcement, legal practice, and legal education. Second, the general part incorporates recent research findings from the fields of criminal law and criminology regarding crime phenomena and crime patterns. It includes or collects a relatively complete definition of crime concepts (though not exhaustive), offering certain academic reference value. Additionally, the book strives for accurate definitions, clear organization, and concise language. For the convenience of narration and reference, the book is entirely presented in an entry format, divided into two parts: "General Principles of Criminal Law" and "Specific Offenses of Criminal Law." The first part consists of six chapters, and the second part consists of fourteen chapters, totaling 636 entries. It should be noted that the title "This Crime and That Crime in Chinese Criminal Law" is chosen based on the content of most of the general principles and all of the specific offenses. However, a small portion of the general principles is not stipulated by Chinese criminal law, and some of it may not even represent the views of Chinese scholars. It is included here solely to promote the study of criminal law and criminology in China and serve as a reference for readers.
