Lifestyle Encyclopedia - Intelligence Test (Volume 2)

Author: Allen

Publication Date: 2007-01-01
Features: This flip book will challenge your intellect and tax your brain. This standing flip book format allows you to challenge a friend and see who can better answer Spark's science questions. Of course, you can also do these brain teasers alone. You might also encounter the Spark family and participate in their bold and adventurous science activities. This flip book can be played alone, with a friend, or even with multiple people. Each quiz question is numbered; most often, a set of questions takes up one page, but some take up two pages. For two-page questions, you need to read the instructions before answering. If you're playing alone, simply cover the answers with your hand or a piece of paper and write down your responses to these questions. After completing a set of questions, you can check the answers and tally your score. If you're competing with a friend or having a group quiz, stand the flip book upright between the two opponents, and take turns reading out the questions aloud that you can see on your page. (Don't read the answers out loud, though!) You can answer each question as you hear it, or you can wait until after a set of questions to answer them all at once. After completing a set of questions, record both sides' scores. The flip book also includes illustrations and photos of various objects and scenes on each page—they are actually hints for the questions on the opposite page (the question numbers are written next to the corresponding illustrations). At the bottom of each page, you'll find a fun joke that will make you giggle (or groan).
