Features: The Yellow Emperor's Inner Canon is one of the most important medical classics in China's cultural heritage. It has been preserved for a long time, contains extensive content, and features comprehensive theories. It comprehensively summarizes the medical achievements before the Han Dynasty and successfully applies the rational core of the Yin-Yang and Five Elements theory from classical Chinese philosophy as its guiding ideology. It widely absorbs knowledge from various interdisciplinary fields such as ancient astronomy, geography, meteorology, phenology, and social ethics, establishing a medical science system in Chinese medicine that integrates nature and human affairs. This laid the theoretical foundation for the development of traditional Chinese medicine in later generations. The Yellow Emperor's Inner Canon is the full title of Suwen and Lingshu. The original Suwen and Lingshu each consist of nine volumes with eighty-one chapters, and they were mostly transmitted independently in history as separate books. Lingshu excels in meridian acupuncture and moxibustion, as well as discussing the alignment of celestial phenomena with human affairs. Suwen is superior in discussing the theory of the universe's Yin and Yang, the diagnosis and treatment of organs and viscera, the causes and symptoms of diseases, and the principles of health preservation.
