Features: The stories collected in this series, except for a few from China, are from all over the world. Whether it's Europe, including the United Kingdom, Germany, and Russia, or Africa, such as Nigeria and Egypt; whether it's the Americas, featuring Native Americans, or nearby Japan, North Korea, and India; or even the Southern Hemisphere, like Australia, they are all included to some extent. All the stories are carefully selected by the editors, short and concise, yet rich in content. They include myths, fables, fairy tales, humor, and jokes. Some teach readers how to live and behave, while others are simply meant to bring laughter, some provoke deep reflection, and others leave readers sighing or even shedding tears. The protagonists range from familiar traditional figures like tigers, lions, foxes, and monkeys, to emperors, presidents, ministers, and generals; from wealthy individuals, beggars, farmers, and soldiers, to beautiful women, children, students, and thieves. This series can be considered a garden of world stories.
