Features: Dad got addicted to the computer, so I wanted to use the computer to learn more extra-curricular knowledge, and Mom needed to take the computer test for her professional title application. So, a fierce computer battle broke out in our family.
Since Dad got addicted to the computer, I've been "unpopular." Every day, it's just homework after homework, and I don't even have anyone to talk to. Several times, I begged Dad to let me play the computer for a while, but he immediately asked as if reciting a rhyme: "Did you write your diary? Did you finish the Math Workbook? Do you want to do the Chinese One-Minute Exercise?" I had no choice but to go back to my desk. Today's homework couldn't be finished before 9 a.m., and there was no time to play the computer. Sigh, who am I to be a student? Students have to take exams, and exams mean... ah, a few days ago, the school announced "reducing the burden," and it was even a central government document! As soon as I got home, I started promoting: "Excessive academic pressure kills children's natural creativity." Dad just shook his head, and Mom didn't believe it: "Don't make a mountain out of a molehill. It's just talk." I didn't argue and finished my homework in about ten minutes. While they weren't looking, I sneaked into the computer room to play.
I was having a great time when Dad walked in with a grim face: "Did you finish all your homework?"
"Yes." He turned to the living room to call the teacher and confirmed that I wasn't lying, and his expression softened.
"You can type too?" Dad asked in surprise.
"Of course, I'm the fastest typer in the class. Don't believe me? Let's have a competition. If you lose, I get to play the computer!"
The competition result went smoothly, and I got the "pass."
Mom still felt uneasy and added a condition: "If others get full marks, you have to get full marks too. Your exam scores must not be below 95 each time."
