How should frontal lobe epilepsy be treated?

Patient's question:

Recently, I don't know why I can't sleep, which greatly affects my work efficiency. My friend recommended that I see a neurology specialist. How should temporal lobe epilepsy be treated?

Doctor's answer:

Frontal lobe epilepsy is often caused by brain trauma leading to damage of the frontal lobe tissue, resulting in recurrent convulsive reflexes. In treatment, neurostimulants such as gangliosides and bovine serum albumin hydrolyzate can be used, along with antiepileptic drugs to alleviate convulsive symptoms, such as phenytoin and sodium valproate. For traumatic epilepsy, hyperbaric oxygen therapy also yields good results. During the remission period, 1 to 2 courses of hyperbaric oxygen therapy can be administered in combination with treatment to stabilize epilepsy symptoms.
