Features: Beginners in sketching usually start by learning the sketching of plaster geometric solids and then transition to still-life sketching. The training of still-life sketching is also compared with basic geometric shapes, which are divided into: cubes, spheres, and cylinders. The forms of all objects in nature, no matter how rich, complex, and varied, are derived from and combined from simple geometric shapes, just like the principle of the three primary colors in color learning. The specific forms of general still-life objects are often divisible into individual geometric shapes, which are then combined. By comparing specific geometric shapes with specific object forms, one can recognize the universal laws of object form changes. After sketching training, one can analyze and synthesize, cultivate correct observation and comparison skills, and study the methods of shaping objects as a whole. The training transitions from simple geometric shapes to basic still-life forms, from simple to complex, from single structures to combined structures, gradually mastering the fundamental skills of still-life sketching art.
