Features: Globalization is one of the most frequently used terms when people summarize the economy in the early 21st century. Globalization is a concept that has sparked widespread controversy. This is not only focused on the extent to which globalization is achieved in what fields, as well as the consequences it brings, these fields, and even whether globalization exists. These controversies have a significant impact on the definition of the connotation and the description of the extension of the concept of "globalization." Before formally discussing intellectual property issues in the context of globalization, it is necessary to clarify the connotation of the concept of "globalization." Generally speaking, globalization is first associated with economic globalization. In ancient times, transnational economic exchanges were already not uncommon, which can be seen from the frequent economic exchanges between various ancient Greek states and the economic exchanges between the East and West connected by the Silk Road. After the Industrial Revolution, technological advancements made spatial distance no longer an insurmountable barrier, and the growing transnational economic exchanges had an increasing impact on localities, nations, and regions. Regional economic organizations and resources gradually formed a unified network through international goods and capital flows, competing on a global scale rather than within the scope of sovereign states. Of course, "in the long run, the globalization of knowledge and value is more important than the global spread of Coca-Cola and Mercedes-Benz," economic globalization also brought conflicts and competition between different regional systems of institutions, culture, and ideas, including the mutual influence and integration of different national legal systems.
