What are the dietary plans for lupus nephritis?

Patient's question:

I went to the hospital for a thorough examination and found protein in my urine, along with the recurrence of hematuria symptoms. After many tests, the doctor told me that I have lupus nephritis, and my overall condition is still good. Normal training is not affected, but I occasionally feel tired. Is it related to this? What are the dietary plans for lupus nephritis?

Doctor's answer:

Lupus nephritis cases present as asymptomatic proteinuria or hematuria, without edema or hypertension. They may also involve proteinuria, red and white blood celluria, enuresis, or nephrotic syndrome, accompanied by edema, hypertension, or rapidly declining renal function. Nocturia is more common. In rare cases, the disease recurs rapidly, with the renal function continuing to deteriorate quickly. The patient may experience recurrence of extrarenal symptoms such as fever, arthritis, and rash. Severe cases often involve the heart, lungs, and liver, with additional clinical manifestations.
