Features: This book explores the internal mechanisms of learning processes for complex declarative knowledge and complex procedural knowledge, following the threads of declarative and procedural knowledge. It first analyzes the relationship among learning, knowledge, and innovation, emphasizing the crucial role of knowledge learning. Subsequently, it introduces the basic classification methods of knowledge. Currently, research on complex procedural knowledge learning is relatively mature, so the book cites a large number of research findings to organize this learning process. In contrast, research on complex declarative knowledge is relatively scarce in academia. Therefore, in this discussion, the author employs discourse analysis methods to construct a model of the learning process for complex declarative knowledge, dividing the process into two stages: understanding monitoring and construction activities. Based on this model, the book systematically reveals the fundamental principles of complex declarative knowledge learning and proposes corresponding teaching and training recommendations, which are the core focus of this book.
Building on the research on the learning processes and mechanisms of both types of knowledge, the book finally proposes the characteristics of expert-based learning. Expert-based learning refers to the process of approaching new problems and handling new tasks in a manner similar to experts. It then elaborates on strategies and methods for cultivating expert-based learners, consciously fostering expert-like thinking, and ultimately enabling more people to become expert-based learners.
