Features: Since the first fascicle of "Social Public Security Standard Collection - Fire Technology Standard Collection" was published until the seventh fascicle was officially released, it took 15 years (starting from August 1987). It has been widely recognized and praised in the industry, playing a positive role in promoting and developing standardization work in China's fire protection field. With the continuous reform of the national standardization system and the constant formulation and revision of fire protection standards in China, the seven currently published fire protection standard fascicles can no longer meet the needs of the market economy and the expectations of readers. The main reasons are two: (1) The first to the fifth fascicles have long been out of stock, and the current effective standards collected in these five fascicles are nowhere to be found; (2) A significant number of standards in the first to the fifth fascicles have either been revoked or revised and subsequently collected in the sixth and seventh fascicles, directly leading to gaps in the five fascicles that cannot be republished as-is. To address the resulting contradiction between standard supply and demand and further promote the implementation of fire protection standards, strengthen fire technology supervision, and improve the quality inspection of fire protection products, we compiled and officially published the "Fire Protection Standard Collection" series. This series is divided into three volumes: upper, middle, and lower. It includes 122 national standards on fire technology issued by the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection, and Quarantine by the end of April 2002 and 91 industry standards on fire technology issued by the Ministry of Public Security, totaling 213 standards, all of which are currently effective. It is available for use by public fire protection supervision agencies, standardization departments, engineering design units, universities and colleges, and relevant personnel engaged in fire safety work, as well as those involved in fire protection product research, design, production, maintenance, and inspection.
