Historical Records and Miscellaneous Selections from the Hundred Schools of Thought (Complete Three Volumes)

Author: Tan Guoqing
Publisher:
Publish Date: 2003-03-01
Features: Yao Ji Chuan's compilation of classical prose is divided into thirteen categories. I slightly modified it into eleven categories:
- Discourses and Treatises
- Poems and Prose
- Prefaces and Postfaces
- Imperial Edicts and Decrees
- Memorial Essays
- Letters and Correspondence
- Eulogies and Funerary Odes
- Biographies and Genealogies
The above nine categories are the same as Yao Ji Chuan's.
- Complimentary Prefaces (a category Yao Ji Chuan included but I did not).
- Narratives and Records (a category I included but Yao Ji Chuan did not).
- Odes and Encomiums
- Edicts and Inscriptions (categories Yao Ji Chuan included, which I attached to the lower part of Poems and Prose).
- Epitaphs and Biographies (categories Yao Ji Chuan included, which I attached to the lower part of Biographies and Genealogies).
