Features: A biography of Saddam is a modern history of Iraq, and even a half of the modern history of the Middle East. The life of Saddam and the modern history of Iraq have caused too much controversy. The author does not avoid those controversial issues, but places some important moments in Saddam's life against the backdrop of the modern history of Iraq and the Middle East. Through a detailed description of various events and movements, as well as the disclosure of many previously unknown daily and political life details of Saddam, the book uniquely and fairly recreates and analyzes the extraordinary life of Saddam. The book, published in the United States in 2006, immediately sparked a reading frenzy. It was simultaneously sold in the United States and the United Kingdom, with over 1,000 libraries in the U.S. adding it to their collections, and nearly 300 libraries in the U.K. enthusiastically ordering it. France, Turkey, and other countries will also publish this book in their respective countries. This book will become one of the best-selling books of the year.
