Features: The footsteps of the Chinese Empire were heavy and sluggish, and it fell into a strange cycle: from the clarity of the early days of the dynasty to the corruption of the later period, then overthrown by the unbearable pressure of peasant uprisings, and a new dynasty repeated this cycle. Our empire, like a youthful and spirited teenager, gradually aged into a frail old man in this cycle, and its immense body collapsed into the dust. In the history of the empire, we see astonishing similarities: the inheritance of systems, the stereotypical portrayal of characters. Every Chinese person, when looking back at the past through this series of books, will cheer, be amazed, angry, and even shed heartbroken tears for our history.
