Features: The Xiaolangdi Reservoir and Sanmenxia Reservoir are two large-scale water conservancy projects on the middle reaches of the Yellow River, offering comprehensive benefits such as flood control, ice jam prevention, power generation, fish farming, and water supply. To reduce soil erosion and non-point source pollution in the reservoir area and enhance the reservoir's efficiency and water environmental carrying capacity, the Ministry of Water Resources decided in 2003 to designate the National Comprehensive Agricultural Development Soil and Water Conservation Project in the Qing River Basin and the Nanhou River Basin of the Xiaolangdi and Sanmenxia regions. These two basins cover an area of 527.05 km2, including 437.86 km2 of eroded land. The book "Practice and Exploration of Shanxi Province's Comprehensive Agricultural Development Soil and Water Conservation Project" aims to achieve mutual exchange, shared improvement, and comprehensive advancement. The book is divided into five sections: photos, summaries, policies, case studies, and publicity.
