Patient's question:
I am a fatty liver patient. I have always relied on taking a large amount of medication to maintain my health, but my condition has not improved. I suspect that my diet is causing the worsening of my condition. How should I eat to stay healthy?Doctor's answer:
Patients with fatty liver often have no symptoms or only mild fatigue, poor appetite, abdominal pain, belching, or a sense of fullness in the liver area. Due to the frequent fluctuation or persistent decrease in transaminase levels and liver enlargement, the condition is easily misdiagnosed as hepatitis, so it is particularly important to differentiate. Both B and CT have high diagnostic accuracy, but a liver biopsy is still required for definitive diagnosis. In clinical diagnosis, careful examination reveals mild liver enlargement in 75% of patients, while very few may experience splenomegaly, spider angiomas, and palmar erythema.
