Features: This is a work with a unique perspective. The author, with a serious and conscientious attitude, has made great efforts to search for relevant materials in historical documents and has provided detailed introductions and evaluations of the related figures. This requires not only mastering the historical records of each town general but also grasping the macro background. This work studies events and figures related to the Lingzhou town generals, listing the names of 113 Lingzhou town generals, with biographies and evaluations of 60 of them. From The Tang Dynasty Lingzhou Town Generals, it can be seen that almost all the Lingzhou town generals were Tang Dynasty generals, many of whom had served as high-ranking officials in various ministries of the court, with nearly 30 of them having served as prime ministers. Among them were also the Shuofang Jiedu Daxi, Emperor Xuanzong Li Heng of the Tang Dynasty, who later ascended the throne in Lingzhou. This title fills a gap in the study of ancient Lingzhou history. It not only allows us to systematically understand the situation of the numerous Lingzhou town generals during the Tang Dynasty but also provides a deeper understanding of Lingzhou's status and glorious history in the Tang Dynasty. At the same time, the use of popular language is suitable for the needs of the general readership, allowing more people to learn about Ningxia and Lingzhou. This book identifies the names of 113 Lingzhou town generals from the Tang Dynasty in nearly three centuries, and selects 60 of the most representative ones for biographical evaluations. The book introduces the life stories of the Lingzhou town generals and provides appropriate comments on the historical events and figures' merits and demerits.
