The book is divided into three parts. The first part mainly introduces the knowledge related to computer network rooms, including the safety standards of uninterrupted power supply systems in power distribution systems, the environmental requirements of network rooms for temperature, humidity, cleanliness, etc., with a focus on the basic knowledge of fire protection, lightning protection, and grounding in network rooms. The second part mainly introduces the organizational structure and functions of computers, the structure and functions of the CPU, storage systems, I/O systems, buses, instructions, hardware components, common troubleshooting methods for hardware failures, and some typical failures, as well as common failures and diagnostic tools. The third part briefly introduces the functions, configuration, and management of system software, application software, and database software in computer software. It introduces the installation methods of DNS, E-mail, FTP, BBS, WWW, DHCP, proxy servers, and video servers, and introduces the concepts, architecture, design of relational databases, and the use of structured query language, with examples of Microsoft SQL Server and the open-source MySQL for installation and management.
