Is bloodletting therapy really effective for facial paralysis?

Patient's question:

I saw a TCM clinic in the adjacent alley that introduced a therapy for facial paralysis. Is blood therapy for facial paralysis really effective?

Doctor's answer:

The radiotherapy currently being discussed for stabilizing facial paralysis is not particularly effective. Although it does have some effects on promoting blood circulation and providing nutritional support, it does not guarantee that this treatment can definitely stabilize and treat facial paralysis. On the other hand, there is also neural inflammation. Additionally, blood clots or nerve anesthesia may be involved. If the blood clot is purely neural in nature, this blood-letting therapy can be somewhat helpful.
