How should high triglycerides be treated?

Patient's question:

Today I saw the check report. Triglycerides 2.02. I hardly eat meat, but why is it still like this? Fasting blood sugar 5.28. Just had my pulse checked by a traditional Chinese medicine doctor who said it's due to a slight imbalance in the spleen and stomach, and a bit of shortness of breath. It seems like I'm concerned about how to help: Does exercise lower triglycerides? I'm not overweight, 162cm tall, and 53kg. Is my blood sugar a bit high? I rarely drink sodas and don't really like desserts either.

Doctor's answer:

The plaintiff noticed elevated triglycerides during the examination. Hypertriglyceridemia is a disorder of triglyceride protein synthesis and degradation. Normal triglyceride levels: children <100 mg/dL (1.13 mmol/L), adults <150 mg/dL (1.7 mmol/L). Critical hypertriglyceridemia: 250–500 mg/dL (2.83–5.65 mmol/L). Clear hypertriglyceridemia: >500 mg/dL (5.65 mmol/L). Your elevated triglycerides are not severe, so increasing physical exercise can help. Your blood sugar is normal.
