You've just been in an accident, you're badly injured. Your forehead has been split open, blood is flowing from your mouth! Blood, everywhere!" Miss Crawley was terrified and screamed, "Save me! Help me, someone, save me!" With each agonizing cry, hazy memories of the past and the guilty truth of the present surged upon her. Ah, the perfect Evelyn. Crawley and she had once been inseparable confidantes, able to share any secret. They passed notes in a secret language known only to them, exchanged clothes and food brought from home, and even had a crush on the same charming teacher. Now, as adults, they were strangers. It was this very friend she once trusted who relentlessly threatened her, using cruel truths to exact revenge on everyone around, leading to devastating tragedies. She even indirectly killed her former husband, Douglas—who was also Crawley's brother. Was it really the originally innocent and kind Evelyn who did all this? Crawley's parents had once adored her, often saying, "What a pity we don't have a girl like Evelyn." At the thought of this, Crawley's heart grew cold. She could no longer endure everyone's admiration and love for Evelyn, her heart filled with hatred and jealousy. Crawley began to weave lies. No, she was the beautiful and obedient Evelyn. She was no longer the "ugly child" that even her mother disliked. She hated everyone around her. She started imitating Evelyn's voice and carried out a series of retaliatory actions using her identity. In the end, Crawley completely lost her sanity and was destroyed by her madness.
